William’s desperation and perseverance in pursuit of Beth contrasted against her resentment and distrust of him, makes their situation almost unbearable. You will find yourself wanting to jump in and shake them awake. But then, that is the nature of a good romantic drama.
A powerful magnetic attraction sizzles between them while willful stubbornness prevents their coming together in understanding. The story is full of humor, hope, frustration, pain and joy. It is enchanting and suspenseful.
You do not need to know the story of Pride and Prejudice however, to catch on and enjoy this adventure. For it is a story of its own. Watch for the sequel Darcy’s Last Promise Tested.
